"Initially, I thought I would be riding the roller coasters and making delicious carnival food, but to my surprise, I am in charge of working with the livestock today - namely sheep.

It's one of main attractions at this year's fair.

My job is straight forward - tend to the sheep as they arrive at the fair.

One of the first families arrives from Joplin, Missouri, ready to unload their animals. So I thought I would lend a hand, and walk their cargo to their pens.

They are a bit pushy.

Once inside - I spread out the hay for them.

Just when I think I'm done - it's time for a bath. Not for me - the sheep.

One of the helpers, Nicole, showed me the ropes - but she had a tough time keeping me dry.

After getting soaked, I bid farewell to Nicole and throw in the towel.

I think I'm more cut out for the weather gig.”
