EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) — Authorities in south Arkansas say a group of children playing in the woods discovered a pickup truck that belonged to a man found dead in his El Dorado home.

The El Dorado Police Department says the children found Benjamin Taylor's Toyota Tundra on Sunday.

Authorities say Taylor's adult son, Brandon Berry, called police Friday after finding his father covered in blood. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

The El Dorado News-Times reports the group of children found the abandoned truck in a wooded area and notified an adult relative, who called police.

El Dorado police spokesman Capt. Kevin Holt says the truck is being processed for additional evidence.

No one has been arrested in Taylor's death and authorities are awaiting autopsy results from the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory.
