Bryan Jones is still on the loose. So what do people think about what's going on in the Rivermarket?
People in the Rivermarket area are more angry than frightened. They say they appreciate everything law enforcement does, but they feel it's completely unacceptable that Jones wasn't watched more closely.
Everyone seems to have the same question, "How can people just escape," asks James Banks.
"I don't understand how someone can escape," says Christina Champion.
"There's the one from Malvern, then this one here...what's going on," asks Banks. "Why are all of these people escaping all of the sudden?"
Bryan Jones escaped and is running through a tourist hot spot. This area is usually considered a must-see, but not today.
"It's kind of scary. It makes your heart thump a little bit," says Champion.
"It doesn't make me feel safe, that's for sure. I definitely don't want to be around when he comes around the turn," says Ben Holifield.
"You never know where these people are or how far they made it," says Banks.
Rivermarket regular James Banks never considered the Rivermarket a dangerous area, but tonight, he's not staying out past sundown.
The Rivermarket is one of the most crowded places in the city during the lunch hour, when Jones escaped. Police say they have no idea where he is right now.
