TRUMANN, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say city workers have found a decomposed body near railroad tracks in Trumann.

Officers told KAIT-TV on Tuesday the workers discovered the body behind a shed. Police Chief Chad Henson says the remains may have been there about a month.

The cause of death is unknown, but police are investigating it as suspicious.

The Poinsett County coroner has the body, which will be sent to the state crime lab to determine a positive identification and a cause of death.

Police detectives have interviewed neighbors in the area.
