Clerk dies in EZ Mart robbery

Myself the BLAME falls onto EZ Mart Corporation........not insuring the safety of employees! What has corporate done to Hire employees? What did the District Supervisor Do to help with apparently the employee shortage at the store/stores. I was hired by Cicle K in 91 which EZ Mart bought in 99 when after the purchase the manager of the store I was assigned at the time quit and couple employees also quit, I was asked to be acting manager till a new manager was hired. Myself and grave yard shift guy was the only ones running a 24 hour store for almost 2 months. My supervisor only said You need to hire people. I did not have the athority to place ads, did not have the time to do back ground checks on what apps I did have which i informed him about and he took apps with him. AS long as the store was being ran and customer waited on my supervisor or corporate could care less how many employees. Corporate did question me on how I was putting in so much overtime. The Family needs to ask and find the truth about the questions above. I do know what I'm talking about here

@lady--Unfortunately, our sheriff and police departments have been taken over by leaders who do not have the stomach to deal with the level of violence we're now facing in LR. We cannot negotiate, plead out or otherwise "play nice" with these b*st*rds. When our police and courts finally have the will to carry out the death penalty, we might finally see some action. Until then, I will rely on my Concealed Carry Permit and Sig Sauer 357.

No family needs to hear such negativity, such as what LSSLSM said. You folks will add politics to anything. My cousin has lost her life due to stupidity and it has nothing to do with politics. More importantly children have lost their hard working mother and we have lost someone we loved.
