Conway Man Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges, Gets 25 Years

Raymond Intervallo, 52, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, which is a Class C felony.
FAULKNER COUNTY, AR – A Conway man pleaded guilty on Monday to child pornography charges and received 25 years in prison, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced Tuesday.

Raymond Intervallo, 52, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, which is a Class C felony.

“This is another step in the effort by our office and law enforcement agencies statewide toward preventing the exploitation of children on the Internet,” McDaniel said in a press release. “I am grateful for the work of the Cyber Crimes Unit in my office and the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office for making sure this man will not continue to harm our most vulnerable citizens.”

Intervallo was arrested last August after agents with McDaniel's Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his home on Bowling Lane in Conway, where multiple images of child pornography on electronic evidence were found and seized.

Faulkner County Circuit Judge Charles Clawson sentenced Intervallo, who will be required to register as a sex offender. He is currently being held in the Faulkner County Detention Center awaiting transfer to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest and investigation.
