Update: Runaway Conway Boy Found Safe

Police say Justin Staton, 12, was found in a local neighborhood.
Update (August 22):
CONWAY, AR - A runaway Conway boy has been found safe.

Police say an officer was patrolling a neighborhood where the 12-year-old was known to have friends and found him in that neighborhood.

He was then returned to the home of his grandparents.

Original story (August 21):
CONWAY, AR -- The Conway Police Department is asking for the public's help in its search of a runaway juvenile.

According to the boy's grandfather, Justin Staton, 12, stole his white 2003 Toyota Tundra, some money and fled on Tuesday night. 

Staton had sent messages to friends indicating that he was wanting to leave the state. 

The truck was located on Stockton Road in Conway after residents in the area called in saying it had been there since the early morning.  The truck was unoccupied and turned over to the owner.

Detectives are asking for anyone who might know where Justin is to contact the Conway Police Department at 501-450-6120 or send an anonymous tip using its Text-a-Tip program.
