FYI- I investigated this with a good friend Larry Almon, who owns Sol Almon scrapyard, the scrapyards fingerprint, photograph, and have affidavits filled out with every sale. It is our Law Enforcement that fails to follow up on the sales and investigate the frequent tweeking methbillies.

Habitat houses are not "given away"! The HOME OWNER must put in so many hours of sweat equity, they must also PAY A MORTGAGE. Not all people who are recipients of Habit Homes are deadbeats, at least they do have to pay a mortgage and are not sitting on their a$$ drawing a check!

SALVAGE YARD people have to be familiar with the ones who bring AC and other familiar "trash" in for money. THEY HAVE TO KNOW WHO IS VANDALIZING AC UNITS AND PLUMBING.

Maybe it's time to make a law that all scrap must be approved by the Sheriff before it can be sold for salvage or everyone who sells to salvage yards must have a permit just like every other tax paying business. During the power outage the scumbags were out here stealing good power lines right off the pole.

Try being a private citizen dealing with rental property and deadbeat renters AND STOLEN AC/HEAT UNITS $3000 AND HOT WATER TANKS $500 AND PLUMBING $250....AND THAT'S JUST NOV. AND DEC. Oh yeah...I forgot the GAS METER THAT WAS VANDALIZED WHILE THEY STOLE GAS....$500. Give all deadbeats a habitat house. I wonder what the history is on the habitat houses given away is. I bet they are trashed and abandoned.
