Country music star Mindy McCready committed suicide Sunday in her Heber Springs home, according to the Cleburne County Sheriff's office.

Recently, McCready had been in and out of rehab while battling addition and mental health issues.  She was being treated for mental health issues at a facility earlier this month before being released to an outpatient program.

McCready, 37, rose to fame with her mid-nineties hit “Guys Do It All The Time.”  She's had 12 singles on the Billboard country singles charts.

McCready was also well known for having a long-term affair with married baseball player Roger Clemens.  The affair was revealed in a 2008 report.

Earlier this year, the father of McCready's second child died from a gunshot wound.  It was believed to be self-inflicted, but an official ruling has not yet been made.  The Cleburne County Sheriff's office was believed running additional forensic tests to determine whether or not David Wilson committed suicide.

McCready leaves behind two children.

FOX16 is concentrating too hard on NOT listing the race of any crime suspect to worry about their spelling.

I think you need a proof reader to read your stories before they are posted. County singer? And she was battling addition?

FYI: I think she was battling "addiction" not "addition."
