LITTLE ROCK, AR – The August deaths of Aaron Sweet and Samantha Espy were caused by “accidental overdose due to methadone intoxication” according to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

Sweet, 19, and Espy, 24, were found lying in their bed by Sweet’s mother in August, according to the police report. At the time, Searcy Police ruled out homicide or foul play, but were unable to find a cause of death.

You know guzzler I never could understand that. Swapping drug of choice has never been a cure for anything. Besides those of us that worked in drug rehab know there is no cure. It just gets to hurting so bad you stop. But once an addict always an addict. Your just one hit from a world of agony.

Methadone clinics are a joke and they are certainly NOT any sort of treatment for heroin. You are simply trading one opiate for another and these programs do not wean the patients at all, they simply allow them to stay on the mess for years and years and they know full well that a lot of the so called patients that have weaned themselves continue to come in and get the stuff and sell it on the streets, these drug houses need to be shut down for good.

My wife had a niece toss her life away just like this couple did. Sad; so young, so much life ahead of her, and just throws it away. You're right; and people are worried about weed. That is a LOL "worry".

Used for heroin addiction. Also used as a heavy duty pain medicine. My sister in law has a script for it with a morphine pump. She also still drives. Some worry about pot. LOL. I'm just glad she moved out of state. You don't understand what a nightmare it was to see her driving toward you on the highway.
