LITTLE ROCK, AR -- On a cold, rainy Thursday morning, Curtis Coleman, the retired President and CEO of Safe Foods Corporation, said he has plans to make the state prosperous.

Among family, friends, and supporters, Coleman told the crowd it's time for Arkansas to come from behind in job creation.  He said unnecessary regulations stop new businesses from coming to the state, and the existing businesses are threatening to leave because of high taxes.

"One of my first things is to appoint a commission of businessmen and women from all over the state to review the last ten years that's been passed in Arkansas and flag every one of them that makes it difficult for Arkansas businesses to function profitably. It doesn't mean we'll get rid of all of them, but we'll take a look at them and evaluate them," Coleman said.

Coleman said since he has experience as a businessman, he knows how to run a business successfully.

Wow, Mittens ran on the platform of a "businessman" running the government, and we all know how well that worked for him!

He wants to run the state like a business. Does that mean that sometime we could be sold to an investor at a profit when the "business owner" (the gov) cant run it properly? Oh wait, thats already happened. Thanks for the loans China.

Strange how our government on one hand talks about trying to stringthen our economy and on the other they are cutting civilian government jobs.... Now can some one please tell me how Obummer and the rest of the government gang plan to make it better? Gas/fuel prices are on the rise. Government is cutting jobs and hours. It feels like to me we are being sc%&wed comming and going. With that being said. AY. I don't trust any of em...Federal,state or local. They all want to see how much they can steal from us.

Isn't this just wonderful. ( Sarcasm ) We all know the problems we face day to day because pol's and big business are in bed with each other; what do you call it when the pol IS big business? Besides, he comes from a family that doesn't know the difference between a fumble and a "forward pass"; or was Coleman paid by the NFL to make sure the Pat's won that game? Not the kind of people I trust running the state.
