some of you folks who live in Garland County have no clue. True ppl make mistakes however wait until you are someone whom is not of GCSD and see if the good old boys handle you're situation fairly! Garland county cops do whatever they please when they please and to whomever they want with no fear of retribution from the public, their peers or their boss. and for those of you whom do not know one of the judges is the attorney for the sheriffs dept hmmmm can you say conflict of interest???????

No excuse, this person knows the law, is paid to enforce it and has on others, he is not a 22 year old kid working on the dock, throw the book at him!

It is really sad the way you people are dogging Danny.he is an excellent officer and a very good man.How many of you have NEVER made a mistake?We have all done things wrong and YOU can mouth but cant even put your real name on here??Boy you are so brave,,COWARDS.Our Sheriff is a Great man nd i have alot of respect for him and our chief deputy.IF U DONT KNOW THESE GUYS KEEP YOUR MOUTHS CLOSED..and Danny is not one who THINKS he is above the law.Just because one or two officers mess up dont mean they are all screw ups.sounds to me you people have to much time on your hands and to slander him??GROW UP and keep your sorry opinions to yourself..Danny is a great guy and you should leave him and his family alone.why do you people want to kick him when he is down??

Monkey123, we all have hard times and I have had more than my share. No one put him behind that wheel it was a choice he made. He is no different than anyone else. Bury a family member from a driver who chose to drink and drive and then you might understand why I have no tolerance for the behavior. I don't care how hard times are it is no excuse. No Excuse! He chose his profession and he should have higher standards.

@Savey- You say "it really isn't hard to not ever get behind the wheel of a vehicle when drinking." You think that he made that decision? You think that it was his intent to hurt people by drinking and driving?. Maybe he is going through rough times and he needs the support of other people in order to get through this. When you are drinking, nothing makes sense and you don't intentionally drink and drive. Maybe this incident will make him wake up and see what drinking does to people.

I can tell you who we are to judge. Those of us that are more responsible than to ever drink and drive. Those of us that have lost a loved one to someone else drinking and driving. You that choose not to judge and want to support him need to pray everyday for those families that have lost loved ones to someone like your friend. It really isn't hard to not ever get behind the wheel of a vehicle when drinking. I'm 50 and have never took a drink and drove.

I think that everyone should leave him alone and let him deal with this without criticism and judging from people that think they are better than everyone!!! He was not on duty, when he is working he is a damn good cop!!!! You all just need to leave him alone!! How many people have been arrested for this? How many Doctors and Nurses, fireman?? Wow they want to use one good man as a example. This is stupid, just let it go!!!! We love and support you Danny!!!

People need to realize that they are people too. Doctors, Nurses, fireman there are all kinds that have been thru this. Who are we to judge anyone!!!!! Well, it actually sounds like Storm4uar is trying to be sensible about these situations. You can't hold the entire county accountable for a couple of bad eggs. I live in Garland County and I am proud to defend them.
