LITTLE ROCK, AR – More than 100 dogs who survived a mobile home fire in Greenbrier last Friday have been sent out of state to be adopted.

Lydia Greer, with the Faulkner County SPCA, says the dogs will be sent to multiple rescue organizations. Greer says two of the dogs had some respiratory problems, but the dogs are otherwise healthy.

Forty-one dogs died in the mobile home fire. Fire investigators believe it was caused by a wood burning stove. The couple who owned the dogs will not face any charges related to the fire.
