Dollar General robbed by armed man

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police say an armed man robbed the Dollar General at 9500 Satterfield Drive Wednesday night.

According to the incident report, two employees had closed the store and set the alarm when a man with a silver revolver approached them in the parking lot.

The employees were forced to disarm the alarm and open the store safe, according to the report. The safe has a ten-minute delay on it so the employees were reportedly forced to lie on the floor until it opened, at which point the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are still investigating the incident. No arrest have been made.

Very sad that when someone has worked making an honest living and some *** violates your rights! Americans need to to exercise their right to "Bear Arms"! The criminals don't have a problem bearing theirs! I do believe that if more people had license to carry a concealed weapon and were able to protect themselves by putting a lot of these criminals 6 feet under this would be a much safer place....

Sorry hommie, it was not your Martians again - per Ark Dem-Gaz, The robber is described as a black man about 5-foot-8 and in his early to mid-50s. He was wearing a black flat cap, a black leather coat, a black hoodie, black pants and white shoes. The usual suspects

A lot of the apartment complexes around Rodney Parham and Reservoir allow riff raffs to come in. It's sad to see areas become bad neighborhoods because of mismanagement of these apartments. Example Green Mountain/Rodney Parham. I feel bad for the hardworking homeowners located in those areas. The community needs to fight back.
