While many of you will get Valentine's Day candy and flowers, be careful because they could be deadly for your dog or cat.

Many pet owners don't know this, but something as simple as flowers can kill your cat.

Lilies are the number one culprit, and that includes all kinds of lilies.

If you notice your cat is vomiting or has diarrhea, that could be the cause.

Roses can be harmful to both dogs and cats because of the thorns. They can get lodged in the throat or digestive system.

Chocolate can cause inflammation for animals.

Alcohol can cause vomiting or diarrhea and many other problems.

Xylitol, a sweetener used in gum and candies, can be harmful too.

And finally, Ribbons & bows, keep all that stuff away from your pets.

In other words, show your pet some love too.
