Around 12:30 Monday, authorities with the Lonoke County Sheriff's office went to look for a person who had an outstanding warrant. They went to a camping trailer on Brewer Street in Austin, Arkansas.
When they arrived, they found 3 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. They also found 35-year-old Jason Lee Huggins and 32-year-old Erin Swafford. Both were arrested on the scene.
Huggins was arrested for two counts of Possession of a controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Huggins also had two outstanding arrest warrants from the Ward Police Department.
Swafford was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on drug charges.
Both Swafford and Huggins were taken to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
