LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police are investigating a robbery at a Little Rock EZ Mart.

According to reports, around 12:45 am on December 4, an employee at the EZ Mart located at 11911 Mara Lynn Road in Little Rock was returning from taking out the trash when he saw an unknown man crouching in front of the business. The employee tried to run in the opposite direction but fell, at which point the suspect grabbed him by the collar and pointed a handgun at him.

The employee told police that the suspect took him back to the business where a second suspect was waiting, then forced him to open the cash register and place the money into a bag. The suspects took the employee’s wallet, made him lay on the floor and then fled the scene on foot.

The investigation is ongoing.

I would say a solution would be to put a deputy with a Mossberg 500 in these places like former Sheriff Robinson did. But Police Chief Thomas would probably just recommend prosecution if they actually shot a robber.

the scariest part is the little amount of money people will kill for. 200 dollars? 1000 dollars? they shouldnt be doing it at all but at least you can expect to be killed over a million in cash.

Per Ark-DemGaz - the usual suspects - The first robber was described as a 25- to 30-year-old black male, weighing about 180 pounds and standing about 5-foot-9. The victim told police that the robber wore a blue bandanna, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and brown boots. The second robber was described as a 25- to 30-year-old black male weighing about 200 pounds and standing about 5-foot-11. He was wearing a black bandanna and a dark hooded sweatshirt, police said.

I think there is a need for a name change here. The place should be called EZ Mark, let's get it right. How many more times are these places going to be robbed before they start putting county sheriffs behind 2way mirrors again? How many people remember Tommy Robinson doing that?
