LITTLE ROCK, AR – Entergy says it will open a Customer Information Center Saturday to talk with customers affected by the on-going power outage.

The center is located at 900 Louisiana Street in Little Rock and will open at 10am. If your power is out and you have questions for Entergy, you are encouraged to go and talk staff there. The center will be open until Monday or Tuesday.

There will also be Customer Information Centers located in Hot Springs and Malvern. Entergy would like customers to call 1-800-9OUTAGE (1-800-368-3749), press option 6 and enter their ZIP code to find out where those centers are located.

In Little Rock, Entergy says 258 people are on the ground scouting areas to determine what needs to be done to restore power. They say the assessment is complete on the circuits and 50% completed on laterals.

As of noon Friday, nearly 60,000 Entergy customers in Little Rock did not have any power.

Public works will begin picking up storm debris beginning on Saturday. There will be no requirement for tree limbs to be a certain length or width to be picket up. The city expects it to take several weeks before all of the debris is picked up.

Trash collection is happening. Trucks will be running on Saturday to collect garbage for those who normally have pickup on Friday, as well as those who have pickup on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Waste Management began collecting recycling on their Thursday route.

Entergy Power Restoration Timeline

Friday: Conway, Cabot, and Jacksonville
Saturday: Byltheville, Searcy, and Augusta/McCrory
Sunday: Benton, Bryant, Carthage, Mt. Ida, Dallas County, Glenwood, Montgomery County, and Pike County

For customers in Little Rock, Western Grant County, Hot Springs, Malvern, Clark County, and Garland County, restoration is expected to take longer than 7 days.

Drove around our area and was amazed at how much damage we have. We were prepared and without Entergy we have TV, Internet, heat and plenty to eat. You can either be the one comfortable or the one whining. I do know I'll be glad when power is back on though, mainly cause gas is too blasted expensive to be running a generator this much.
