PULASKI COUNTY, AR – An inmate that escaped from the Perry County Jail has been arrested in Little Rock.

According to Sheriff Scott Montgomery of the Perry County Police Department, 34-year-old Charles Hamner, who originally escaped the jail by cutting the fence in the recreation yard then stealing a truck on August 2, was arrested Tuesday morning.

Deputies say Hamner located off West Bingham Road, near a barn. Hamner was inside of a truck that was reported stolen out of Arkansas County. He is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center.

It is unknown at this time if Hamner will face charges in Pulaski County before being transported back to Perry County.

Glad to see this maggot was captured and returned in to custody. Good work men. Also glad there were no blood shed while he was out.
