Crews have found the 20th victim in the flash floodingEight-year-old Jadyn Basinger was found early Monday after search crews scoured the Little Missouri area for the girl.

FOX16 had a chance to sit down with the remaining survivors. Jadyn's mother talked about losing her husband and two daughters. Along with her was Candace Smith, a friend from Louisiana who lost her husband and two children as well.

"They just found my oldest daughter today. She was the last one missing. They found her and she wasn't far from the campsite," says Basinger.

The Smith's and Basinger's sat down with friends and FOX16 to share their story of loss and heart break.

As the water rose Friday morning, Candace says her family climbed on top of the roof of their pickup.

"That's as far as we got before we were all, before the water went higher than the truck, than the top of the truck. It was just so fast," says Candace.

"You'd grab something and then that tree would break and you could hear your kids hollering to come get them and you couldn't go to get them because the current was so strong," says Kerri Basinger.

The families thank volunteers at Pilgrims Rest Missionary Baptist Church for their unrelentling support the last four days.

"I don't see how we are still here. And I don't understand why our families got taken away from us," says Basinger through tears.

It is hard to hear that kind of pain. They did want people to know that two of the four that were in the group of survivors were two teens, one from Louisiana and one from East Texas. Both of them, Brady Pate of Louisiana and Austin Rachel, not only survived, they went back and were able to get another mother and child to safety.

Even though the group of people lost so much, those two were able to go out and be as heroic as they could to try and save more people.

Candace Smith lost her husband Anthony Smith, 30, 5-year-old son Joey and 2-year-old daughter Katelynn.  They were from Gloster, Louisiana.

Kerri Basinger lost her husband Shane 34, daughters Kinsley 6, and Jadyn 8.  Jadyn was the 20th victim found Monday.  They are from Shreveport, LA

While I pray for the families, I think how hard it is for the parents whom have lost a child. My heart just breaks to hear that children as young as 2 years old have been lost. I can think of nothing worse then too lose a child. I grieve along with the parents of the children, truly devestating. I of course also feel for the lives lost as husbands or wives, but children....I can't not even imigiane losing one of my own. I pray that all families will one day have closer and please know that you will once again see your loved one sitting at the hand of the Almighty God. This is indeed a trajedy and I pray deeply for all families involved. God Bless.

I tear up everytime I read another story or think about all the hearbreak. My heart is absolutely broken for each and every survivor and the families fo those that lost loved ones. I pray several times a day for these families and my heart goes out to all of them. I can't even begin to imaine losing my husband and children and being the only one to survive. I wish there was something that I could do to help. Just know that there are lots of people praying and will continue to pray for the families. So So tragic.
