LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Neighbors hope a new device in the area will reduce speeding.
Little Rock police will put a radar trailer in the neighborhood.
It comes after neighbors complained about drivers zipping through the area, going much faster than thirty miles an hour as the sign mandates.
Neighbors said they've seen a number of cars rear-ended as well.
Police believe the trailer will allow drivers to actually see their speeds and slow it down.
"Being able to enforce those to ensure the safety of the citizens is critical to the department," Capt. Ty Tyrell said.
The device will also record the speeds and the times drivers are going at that rate and can be used by officers to know when to have a police presence there to write tickets.
