For those that don't know only 120 hours of training are required for part-time auxiliary/reserve positions and constables and only 410 hours to become a full-time certified officer. Not sure about special officers like bailiffs and parole officers but I think that's around the 120 mark too.

The officer should not be allowed back to work until ALL investigations are done and only if she is cleared of any wrong doing after the investigations. As far as the Conway County issue, I'm assuming you are referrinf to the thug that robbed the liquor store then tried to run the cops down with his car. I would have shot his ass as well. If this guy was doing no wrong, she should be fired and charged, if it was an accident, she should be cleared, if it was in defense, clear her. Regradless, she needs more training. The longer it takes to get the results of the investigation, it will give them more time to coloabrate with each other and make the out come what they want it to be.
