He has flip flopped on occasion. It wasn't too long ago he posted how he had served our country, and was all for the 2nd Ammendment. But most of his posts are anti gun rants lately. Can anyone say "sour grapes" as in Aesop's "The Fox and the Grapes"? Random drug testing for "everyone"? Now he not only wants to get rid of the 2nd Ammendment, but the 4th also! I think Nobama got to him; he's got a socialist agenda just like our president. Or maybe it's just the homemade wine and the green making him say this stuff? Cut him some slack; we all have our own opinions. Seriously Butch - we are not giving up our Bill of Rights anytime soon, and not without a fight. Sign away on those petitions.

Butch54, I didn't know you were an anti-gun freak. You and all anti-gun freaks are way off base. If you want to stop 98% of the crime with weapons, lock away all mental ill people. Bi polar, and all that use anti depressants. You can sign all the petitions you want till your blue in the face, you will never take my AR15 or my AK.47 nor my 11/30 round clips and not even one of the several 1000 rounds of ammo I have. There is many other ways to protect than to stomp on our constitutional rights. There is a product called trigger locks, and gun safes. And barrel chokes with locks.

Another note on gun control. Since Obama's administration has announced its plans to ban certain weapons, the sales of those weapons have gone up over 200% in a very short time. Do you understand what that means? It means that Obama's decision to ban the weapons has resulted in more than the usual amount of them being sold, which means there are more of them on the street. So, is this accomplishing anything other than putting more of the weapons they want to ban on the streets? NO!!!!!!!! Show me where the logic is in putting more weapons like that on the street and not doing anything about the justice system so criminals can be punished accordingly. Exactly, you cant.

Butch, if you would recall, my statement regarding the drug testing for unemployment was pretty much this. I said I can see both sides of the argument. I can see where a person that has worked, gotten laid off and is receiving unemployment benefits (which was paid in by their employer) would have an argument that they shouldnt be tested. My statement was pretty much saying that those that decide to NOT work and choose to live off of welfare should be tested. I am all about stopping the violence, but lets start at the root of the problem. Repeat offenders, violent and non-violent ones, the lack of effort from lawmakers regarding the criminal activity, the lack of justice from within the "justice system", letting violent offenders out on parole MULTIPLE TIMES, etc. Gun owners are not to blame for the violent crime, the ever failing justice system is to blame for it. If you have a dog that is constantly biting people, and you let that dog run amuck, that dog will continue to bite people. You and everyone else promoting this bullshat gun control are simply taking the rights away from law abiding people, who choose to live a productive life, pay taxes and NOT DO OTHERS HARM and yet do absolutely nothing about the true problem. Dont piss on my neck and tell me its raining.

Baby you know they holler loud and clear when it's someone else having to give up their right to privacy. When it might be their turn they don't like it at all. Their nothing but two faced. Things are great as long as it doesn't effect them. Who cares about other. Can we say selfish and self centered. LEAVE MY MAN OF 35 YEARS ALONE. Calling at lunch.

Itsjustme that is the way the hard working that lost their jobs due to the economy feel about testing for unemployment. What makes you someone special. You cry for drug test for every thing. Let gun owners test. Being what you say you are,not proven anywhere, looks like you would be glad to help stop the violence. Besides we started the draft of it 6 weeks ago. We have a very good and popular person that likes it and wants to introduce it. Some of us are very tired of gun owners shooting off their mouths about how they will shoot others down. We are also tired of the killing. I don't think we are alone in this. We have lot's of people willing to sign it. As an organization we are growing everyday.

I fail to agree that as a law abiding, tax paying, hard working individual that I should suffer any more inconveniences because of the thug lifestyle. I am a responsible firearm owner, and you think I, along with many many others, should have to pay for, go through and bow down and take drug/alcohol tests to prove that I am fit to own a firearm. Everytime I purchase a firearm, they do a background check on me. I have never killed, raped, dismembered or maimed anyone, nor have I been convicted of a felony nor have I had any "mental issues" in my entire life, which os damn near 7 decades long. If you want to do something about the rise in violent crimes and start these petitions, do me and the others like me a favor. Leave us the f' alone and petition the lawmakers to do what is really needed. More strict sentencing guidelines for these violent pieces of trash. Petition the lawmakers to abolish the parole board, especially for the rapists, child molestors and murderers. Petition the lawmakers to stop plea deals, petition them to stop early release, petition them to stop catering to the needs of the convicted and petition them to care as much about the victims and the innocent people as they do for the convicted violent criinals. Petition them to revamp the judicial system. THOSE are the problems. But you f'ing inbred morons want to screw the wrong people. I am sick of it. Damn criminals have more rights than the people they act violently against, but no one gives a flying turd about that. Gun control my ass, lets try holding criminals accountable and try some criminal control. LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!!!!!!!!!

It is possible to raise children of any color in such a way that they don't get "involved" with the criminal element. I hate to blame parents, BUT "they babies" keep getting in trouble for no reason. Example: 15 year old killed for breaking into cars at 2 in the morning. What do you suppose he would have done in the future, killed someone else commiting a robery? VERY SORRY FOR THIS FAMILY, GOD BLESS THEM.
