A top administrator in Faulkner County facing charges of stealing county-owned asphalt appeared in court on Monday.

Jeff Johnston, second in command in the county, is charged with felony theft after prosecutors say he used $4,000 worth of asphalt to pave his own driveway.

During Monday's court appearance, a judge set a July date to hear a long list of motions in Johnston's case.
