A Faulkner county man is accused of having nearly two dozen child pornography pictures on his personal computer. The tip came from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Deputies say they found more than pictures when they searched his home.

"That really pisses me off,” says a man who calls 35-year-old Michael Feathers his brother.

Feathers faces 23 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies say he logged on to Ning, a social networking site, and shared the photos. That’s when someone noticed them and contacted authorities.

"We started an investigation and figured out who the email account belonged to. We had enough at that time, 23 pictures, so we had enough to do the search warrant on the residence,” said Lt. Matt Rice.

Inside his Greenbrier mobile home, deputies say they found more child porn on a computer and a pair of children's underwear in Feathers’ room.

"He's got a [explitive omitted] load of computers but he buys computers from flea markets and art shows and [explitive omitted]," Feathers’ brother said.

"My brother aint no [explitive omitted]-up mother [explitive omitted]  like that. I've had girlfriends that have kids and they come around and [explitive omitted] like that and there's no problem,” he defensively added.

But deputies say Feathers’ child pornography obsession dates back two years.

Feathers spent one night in jail before being released on a $60,000 bond.

"You've got to assume that at one point, just like anything else, you're going to graduate to something else. We hope that they don't graduate to actually acting on sexual acts on an actual child,” Rice said.

"It wasn't him. I guarantee you that,” Feather’s brother insists.

Deputies also found several computer discs. They're checking them to see if Feathers has any other inappropriate photos of children. Deputies also say Feathers admitted to the crime.

unfortunatly that would stop the acts ,, he would still have the mental compacity to continue what he is doing, but chemical nuttering would be a deffinet start,,, and put him where he can't get to kids..I live in greenbrier, my children go to school here, it scares me to know that he is out on the streets,,,,,

I like dhs69's suggestion. Unfortunately, he will probably do less time than someone arrested for simple marijuana possession.
