SEARCY, AR - A spokesperson for Goodwill Industries says its store in Searcy is destroyed after an early morning fire Friday.

Lisa Wamsley with Goodwill of Arkansas says the store at 3707 E. Race Ave caught fire around 4:30.

No one was inside at the time of the fire.

Multiple crews with Searcy Fire Department have been battling flames for over five hours.

Wamsley says Goodwill is now looking for a temporary location to reopen for its 15 employees while the organization assesses where and when to rebuild a permanent structure.

Goodwill opened the location on Race Street in 1981.
