LITTLE ROCK, AR - Investigators with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and the North Little Rock Police Department seized 4 pounds of cocaine from a Greyhound bus Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says the bus was en-route to Nashville from Corpus Christi. Law enforcement found the cocaine acting on a tip from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Two women were arrested in connection to the drug bust.

48-year-old Janie Pridemore, of Joelton, TN, was arrested and charged with one count of trafficking cocaine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She is in jail and being held on $52,500 bond.

27-year-old Samantha Richards, of Nashville, TN, was charged with one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited and released on $1,000 bond, according to the sheriff’s office.

I find it interesting that Texas knew the drugs were there, yet allowed it to go on, tipping off Arkansas. Saves their tax dollars. Maybe Arkansas should have tipped off Tennesee, thereby saving ours?

The whole time they had damn near every cop on duty at this "big bust", a bigger shipment went right by their eyes. Im glad this 4 pounds of coke is off of the streets though.
