LITTLE ROCK, AR - Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced that a Greene County man has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
Jeffrey W. Webb, 37, was arrested by agents from the Attorney General’s Office at his home Wednesday. He has been charged with 20 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
"These crimes are deplorable, and agents from our Cyber Crimes Unit will continue to investigate and arrest those who prey upon our children," McDaniel said.
Agents with the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit arrested Webb after executing a search warrant at his residence in Paragould. At that time, Webb admitted to investigators that he was in possession of multiple images of child pornography on a laptop computer, according to a release from the Attorney General's office.
The computer was seized and will be analyzed at the Cyber Crimes Unit’s Forensic Lab in Little Rock.
Webb is being held in the Greene County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
