LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Tropical Storm Isaac is affecting plans for the Republican National Convention in Florida Sunday. But Arkansas Congressman Tim Griffin is not worried about the Presidential campaign even if major disruptions reach Tampa.

"There will be plenty of time between the convention and November for the candidates to get their messages out," said Griffin.

Griffin is a Romney delegate and is confident Arkansas will put Romney in office. However, he admits much of the focus will be on states like Ohio, Michigan, and Florida.

"That's where the campaigns will be very, very close. That's where the campaigns will spend most of their time and money. And that is understandable," said Griffin.

Griffin also commented on the recent controversial remarks of Congressman Todd Akin, saying the comments are affecting the party.

"I think it would have been better if he would have gotten out because he is taking away from our ability to win that Senate seat," said Griffin.

Some political analysts consider Griffin a future national leader of the Republican Party. But he remains modest.

"I am certainly flattered by any compliment. But I've got to stay focused on on the convention. And then turn my focus back to November and reelection," said Griffin.

Yes, Griffin is good at "talking", but his record for "doing" is a complete failure!
