A coalition seeking to have a medical marijuana proposal struck from Arkansas' November ballot told the state Supreme Court on Friday that backers didn't do enough to make sure voters know medical marijuana users could still face prosecution under federal law if the measure passes.

You guys are right, we need to keep the bible whores in check and out of politics. The citizens have followed the legal process, now it is time for the voters to exercise the democratic process and liberties.

this about compassion for your fellow man. This man is trying to not only take your right to vote on this issue. But stop sick people that could use this medicine. Mr Cox just said on channel 4 last night that he had no problem with Haley Gloria being the 8 year old cancer patient being able to use Marijuana for her cancer treatment. So he is now the one who choose who will be allowed the herb. Make your up mind Mr Cox you are for everyone using medical marijuana or not.

Mobilize church groups? This Christian is voting for it. If you be Christian and are against it, then read Genesis 1:11,12. Ethics committee? What would they know about ethics if they are trying to prevent Americans from voting on something the "People" decided to vote on after getting enough petitions signed? Family Council? They don't speak for my family! This coalition is made up of backwoods, inbred, ignorant stump jumpers.

Rules were followed now I want my RIGHT to vote on this. I will vote yes. At almost 60 it is hard to believe that this plant is still not legal.Legal drugs and alcohol cause so much more harm. I wish those groups would mind their own business! Leave my rights alone.

I have seen the good that medicinal marijauna can do for people. I do not believe that anybody has the right to revoke citizens rights to vote. If we give on this what other freedoms will they take from us. I do not smoke marijauna but it hurts to watch loved ones suffer when they could have help with the pain and weight loss chemotherapy brings. If we as American citizens do not go and vote for what we know could help then it is our bad VOTING is a right that many including women and African-Americans have had to fight for no one should be able to take that away from us.

We need to be very active against anybody who tries to stop the democratic process to vote that our forefathers put in place. To many soldiers have given their lives fighting for our freedom for us to just lay down and let people trample on our right to vote and say TAKE IT OFF THE BALLOT SO PEOPLE CANNOT VOTE. Maybe they would feel more at home in CUBA.

I wonder if those Conservatives are also against the other drugs Doctors prescribe which are Illegal if you dont have a prescription. Note PRESCRIPTION is the KEY here. Just like you can get morphine, guess what that is related to, (some people know.) Anyway we all know they are taking all the other hard drugs a Doctor gives to them, so to say this cant be prescribed is crazy.

Most reasonably intelligent people know that this will still be a violation of federal laws. It's been drummed in our heads quite well, thank you. Anyone who says differently is probably an idiot wasting perfectly good herb and doesn't deserve to consume it.

My grandmother died of cancer nearly 18 years ago. The last couple of months of her life were pain free, nausea free and she was actually able to eat a little because of this herb. This natural herb was put on this earth for a reason!! I'm so tired of these "groups" telling me or my family what I can or cannot do, especially if it's something that will make my loved ones pain free & nausea free in their final days. On a different note; how many fatalities each year are because of marijuana use? Now how many fatalities each year are because of alcohol? Prescribed drugs from a pharmacuetical co? Legalize it, harvest it, tax it and watch the big bucks roll in to the state. Back Off Bible Thumpers!!!
