itsjustme; You aren't going to win against him. He's dead set in his belief that we should not have guns, period. I'm betting he's a Democrat. Against guns, but it's OK to kill children in the womb. How's that for irony?

Someone said "guns kill, people dont". How stupid of a comment is that? Guns DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. People kill people, and not with just guns. Do you want to ban knives, hammers, axes, vehicles (for the drunk drivers), rope and the other millions of things people kill others with? If someone wants to kill someone, they will kill them somehow. If you ban all firearms, you will just make criminals find another way to kill people.

Sorry about calling names, sorry i am wrong, sorry there are 20 children dead, sorry about it all. Sorry that we have guns. Sorry that i insulted somebody, sorry that all of this happened. You people that love guns are just provoking this kind of behaviour, believe it or not. Get real, forget about the NRA, guns are a MAJOR problem!

I will pray for the families. It's so sad and what we need to do is hire more police just for the schools. no one should be able to walk into any school with a loaded gun ever. It's not the guns it's who uses the gun. He should have never made it inside. tha's just an ideal we could put out there. Of course someone will complain about that also because they wouldn't be able to just walk in but let them complain at least the the school would be safe.

arkny: "Guns gotta go"? How you going to go about this? I was't comparing our country to Nazi Germany. BUT; if you take our right to bear arms away from us, THEN I can compare our country to Nazi Germany. You say that was then and this is now, and you point out the people had no say in the matter of their guns being taken away from them, and yet that's exactly what you are proposing! Your view, and understanding of history is slightly slanted; Communism and Nazism are two different ideoloies; read your history books! To quote you - "...we defeated the same regime that is starting to grab hold here!" If that's the case, then we NEED our guns to prevent tyrants from taking over. You are talking in circles friend. I read a comment yesterday in a news article; people are going to use the bodies of these dead children to push their agenda; shame on you. Kaleb is correct. I'm sure you've heard the expression - when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. I guess if you had your way, we'd all live in Utopia. But is doesn't work that way. NY City and IL have some of the toughest gun laws in the country; checked their murder rates lately? It just won't work arkny. The crooks ain't going to give them up; and neither are us honest folk! And calling Kaleb names is out of line.

This is really depressing to kiss your kid goodbye to school, knowing that they will come back home to you, but in this case they didnt. What kinda person would ever do this. All i really have to say is sorry for those parents out there who's loved ones didnt make it . IM SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i think god wants you to know that he is in his hands. God says i have them in my hands and will never let them go.

This is just so unbelievable. Just thinking that there are still children victims in the school is horrific. If someone in the school had a gun, as in the Colorado theater shooting, perhaps the loss of life would have been less. A little off subject, but to me this reinforces having cell phones in schools. Lives were saved from the Columbine shooting due to students having cell phones. Even though my child's school outlaws cell phones, she is mandated by me to take her phone to school. Her instructions are to text me every morning when she steps on the bus. I'll deal with the school if they do a phone check - but it is NOT going to stop me from givng her another phone if the school takes one away. Her safety is more important to me than school 'rules'.

Kaleb, I guarantee you that you will have a freakin better chance meeting up with someone with a fishing pole than you will with someone with a gun. Too bad dude didnt have a fishing pole today, maybe a hook in someones head, but look at the difference, you freakin idiot@!

Sad day America, if you would allow more people to carry this stuff wouldn't happen. Laws are for law abiding citizens only. If you take the guns away from civilians. The crooks will have free reign on who to kill ans steal. Guns laws Simply Does Not Affect Criminals. If someone's beats someone to death with a fishing pole will those be banned too?
