Hi, in this report from 2008 on the agreement between HP and AR/Conway to move jobs to the new facility there - I wonder if it has been realized by folks there in AR, other than my grandparents, that these are not new jobs. HP is firing long term employees all over the country and hiring replacements in Conway. I could very well be one of them in the next year or 2, and wondered why that aspect is not specifically called out in all the related stories. Trust this insider when I say, if somebody comes along with a sweeter deal in a few years HP will exit Conway overnight without regret. As unbiased reporters you might as well get some shots in now while they still care. Maybe you can enfluence the legislation there around these types of incentives to ensure in the future, Arkansas tax payers are only paying for "new jobs" instead of paying to get someone fired with 5,10,15,20 years with HP in CT, GA, TX, CA, MN, OK, CO, etc
