Stimulus money is helping students make the grade at College Station Elementary. Many parents can't help their kids with homework because they don't have the tools at home. That's why faculty members came up with 'The Parenting Center.'

College Station Elementary is putting $37,000 of stimulus money to set up the school's first computer parenting center. It includes five computers, a comfortable setting, and teachers close by to help with questions.

"We want to have that open access, when they come home from school, and have a project due the next day, I want to be able to have them run to the computer. I also want to be able to help them with that project," said Ghia May.
