Highway 67/167 widening project

Business owners in Jacksonville met with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Tuesday to learn about a proposed widening project on 67/167 between Jacksonville and Cabot.

If the ASP would write tickets to the idiots that get in the left lane and hold traffic up, traffic would flow quicker. How many times has one of us got behind someone in the left lane, doing the same speed as those in the right lane. Move over, get the hell off of your phone and pay attention to whats around you.

Three lanes would be nice and a couple of state troopers to enforce the driving laws would be even better... I've lived in many states but the people that live in Cabot are by far the worst drivers

Good! Worst road I ride on; between Jax and Cabot. 6 lanes hopefully will cut down on fatalities also. Wonder how many years it will take though. It took 20 years to improve and work on 167 between the North Interchange and Jax. Will help the economy also; no telling how many state and local politicians will get kickbacks from the contractors. This is a win/win.
