Hot Springs City Leaders to Speak Out About Proposed Change in Government

A petition has called for a change from the mayor-aldermen system to the the city manager form of government.

HOT SPRINGS, AR- Hot springs voters will decide in May whether their current government stays or goes, but tonight the City Board of Directors are expected to make their feelings known.

A resolution is on the agenda for tonight's meeting allowing the board to voice support for the city manager form of government instead of a mayor-aldermen system.

A special election is slated for May 14th after a Garland County man petitioned for the change.
