American Idol contestant Zach McKenzie, a native of White Hall, was eliminated Wednesday night during group competition in Hollywood.
McKenzie sang along with three others and performed One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful."
The group struggled to stay in tune and the entire group was sent packing as a result.
"If the word 'wrongest' can be used, this was the wrongest song for you guys," said judge Keith Urban before sending McKenzie and the others home.
