SERIOUSLY.....What is wrong with a concrete building and cots, no frills, baloney and bread (it gets served to nursing home patients...dried out, meat and bread) Egg sandwich for breakfast....peanut butter/jelly, all kinds of ECONOMIC BUT healthy food? THREE MEALS AND A COT....BETTER THAN WHAT OUR TROOPS ON THE BATTLEFIELD HAVE FOR SURE. Sure, give them a huge recreation area with some exercise equip and ball goals...TV 2 TIMES A WEEK, IF THEY ARE GOOD..let 'em work off their frustration in PLAY.

itsjustme....my sentiments exactly. However, getting Arkansas to adopt this is unlikely. Bring Tommy Robinson back...shoot 'em first and rehabilitate 'em later....that's my motto. SOOOO If we had a 10000 bed, or cot concrete building and threw all of "them" (that the police get calls on daily and nightly) in there, CRIME WOULD GO DOWN....IF OUR POLICE HAD NOTHING TO DO BUT CRUISE THE STREETS,OR HELP OLD LADIES WITH THEIR GROCERIES, THAT WOULD BE GOOD.

I really dont care if they have a bed to sleep in or not. Give them a mat and tell them to hit the floor. Put up tents somewhere. If tents are good enough for the military, then its good enough for a jail bird. I'd rather have a criminal uncomfortable in jail than comfortable on the street.

Paddywack....I just wish you were right. Bryant and Benton and every other nook and cranny are getting it now. All these idiots that the police are chasing all day and night need to be thrown into jail...eventually there wouldn't be enough of them to give them any confidence. CRIME WOULD GO DOWN.

If you hire more Cops in Little Rock they will just sell drugs like the last two Brothers that got caught with the dope in a LRPD car! I would just stay out of the Jacksonville/NLittleRock/LittleRock Area/

THE EFFECT ON CRIME ....WHEN WE HAVE ENOUGH BEDS TO ACCOMMODATE ALL OF THE OFFENDERS, IT WILL GO DOWN. WHEN THEY KNOW THERE WILL BE "ROOM AT THE INN" AND THAT IS WHERE THEY WILL BE UNTIL THEY LEARN SOME MANNERS, CRIME MIGHT GO DOWN. THEY ARE PRETTY STUPID.

240 new beds. THAT ISN'T A DROP IN THE BUCKET. We need to build a simple concrete building for about 10000 inmates and take them all off the streets, without hesitation. I can't imagine ever letting a violent criminal out instead of a nonviolent one. I know that is the threat we hear all the time. WHY NOT BUY THE CONCRETE BLOCKS AND PUT THE DAMMMM INMATES TO WORK BUILDING A BIG BUILDING. Hellll, I am afraid to go to the store, and afraid to leave my stuff unguarded at home. This place is a cesspool of crime. WE NEED AT LEAST ANOTHER 100 POLICE OFFICERS AND CARS OUT ON THE STREET. I read the other day that 1/2 of those have graduated so I guess that is on the way.
