MENA, Ark. (AP) — A Polk County judge has sealed the criminal case against a 17-year-old girl charged with first-degree murder in the death of an elderly man.

Authorities have released few details about the Dec. 3 death of 80-year-old Loyd Cole, whose body was found in a ditch in Mena.

Prosecutor Andy Riner tells the Southwest Times Record that the teen girl has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. She's being held on $500,000 bond.

Authorities say Cole's death is classified as a homicide, but they have not said how he died.
