The fourth day of trial begins Monday for the man accused of killing news anchor Anne Pressly. Jurors report to court in the morning to hear more testimony prosecutors say links Curtis Vance to Pressly's death.

Prosecutors plan in the coming days to share notes and play video and audio tapes of interviews with Curtis Vance, interviews taken on the night of his arrest in November then again in December and February. One of those tapes is 3 hours and 30 minutes long. Prosecutors tell jurors they'll hear Vance confessing. But the defense says Vance gave some interview statements without the advice of his attorneys.

The trial began Wednesday. After opening statements from the prosecution and defense plus police officer testimony, Anne Pressly's mother Patti Cannady took the stand. She told jurors how she tried to call Pressly at her home in the early morning hours of the attack. When she arrived she found Anne beaten, bloody, and lying on her bed. Cannady said "It was horrific. I couldn't imagine what I was seeing. I couldn't take it in."

Thursday jurors heard testimony from 33-year-old Kristen Edwards, the Marianna rape victim who voluntarily agreed to reveal her identity. A DNA expert testified that a sample found at Edwards' home matched a sample found at Pressly's home.
And Friday, another DNA expert took the stand, saying a DNA sample found at Pressly's home is very similar to Vance's DNA, either belonging to Vance or someone in his family.

The prosecution may also call more Little Rock police detectives who collected evidence at Pressly's home. And after the prosecution rests the defense will get it's turn. There's no word whether Vance will take the stand or who any of the other defense witnesses will be if any.
