HOT SPRINGS, AR- A young man is recovering after his car tumbled down an embankment and into a creek Friday afternoon.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. in rainy conditions on Highway 7 South.
A small Chevrolet car was headed north on Highway 7 just inside the Garland County line when the driver lost control and traveled across the highway down into the rock bed by the waterfall at Mill Pond Village, according to KLRT Content Partner Hot Springs Daily.
The man received some lacerations but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
A small amount of vehicle fluids entered the water but was not serious enough to cause any problems.
