GARLAND COUNTY, AR - Sabrina Morton is finally home safe after she says Jason Ripley tied her up and beat her for two days inside of a camper in the Garland County woods.

"I was thinking to myself, 'How in the world can my best friend be this this horrible insane man that I don't even know?'" said Morton.

Jason Ripley was arrested in Tennessee Tuesday. Morton says he kidnapped her Thursday night.

"He started torturing me with different things and tying me up," said Morton.

Morton has 21 staples in her head, a dislocated spinal disc, a broken thumb and burns and bruises all over her body from the two days she says Ripley kept her tied up before she made her escape.

"He was like, 'I'm going to make scars for even you to remember,' and I was thinking to myself, 'As long as I live, I don't care how many scars I have," she said.

Saturday night, Morton says she broke free and ran three miles to a liquor store on Highway 7.

"The first chance I got, I just took off running," she said. "I sprinted the whole way."

"Never trust a friend. Never trust a friend," said Morton as she recalled her experience.

Ripley has at least seven prior felonies including aggravated assault and 2nd degree battery. Morton says another man and a woman were also at the camper helping Ripley keep her hostage but as of right now the Sheriff's Department tells us there are no warrants for their arrests.

I'm so glad she escaped and the other man and woman allegedly involved should be charged with the same thing as the kidnapper..and...Why didn't someone clean up the living room for her before the media cameras got to her house??????

I hope they don't find him because the family or some of our Community of ft lake finds him first.... A lil country justice should be in order .... Just my opinion prison would be too easy on him for what he has done... Eye for an eye time...
