LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Saturday, warm food meets the cold air as volunteers feed the hungry for the annual Christmas Caravan.

The event started at Heifer International and ended at the Clinton Presidential Center.

"This is somewhere where we don't judge them. It doesn't matter where they are from. We see people who need things and we help them," said volunteer Anna Shelton.

People could get clothes and gifts for the holiday season.

"It feels real good that I am doing something for the public and community and it makes them feel good as well," said volunteer Clayton Delong.

Tommy Sullivan agrees. He is one of the people who got help today.

"It fills my heart. In a way it makes you sad when you see all these people. But it makes you feel glad because people in the United States that do care about people," said Sullivan.

Santa Claus was also at the event, which started in 2005. Every year, volunteers say the event grows.

"It just shows some Christmas spirit to people who really need it this time of year," said volunteer Alexa Rea.

The caravan is a gathering of several community groups, which also hold similar events throughout the year to help families in need.
