Yes the kid was doing wrong but at the same time the cop didn't have to kill him he was backing the car up and that's is why the gun shot was on the side of the head just because he was trying to run don't mean you should shot to kill. And that is the bottom line and then he lied about it so F*** him .These young kids are out of control and so are the cops. And before you take up for this cop check his back ground.

I know police are sometimes smart butts i have meet a few but,the bottom line he doesn't have all day to make a split second decision. Weigh all the evidence and go from there. The kid was on to bigger and worse things and who knows who his next victim would have been.

FOX16 tries to turn every story into a police corruption scandal like Rodney King. It's a reality that a police officer charged in a crime will be treated differently. They're not put into general population so, of course, procedures will be different. Nothing to see here, FOX16, move along.

I'm sad the young thieving thug was out on such a high bond. I hate he couldn't respect others person or property. A high bond did nothing to slow the little thug down. He was right back out there doing it again. What I hate the most is it looks like the public has had the wool pulled over there eyes again. This thug and those like him are the reason people want CCP's. Where do you draw the line. Remember this. A baby copperhead will kill you quicker than a large one. It's beginning to look like it's the same way with thugs.

With all of the media outlets blowing this up, I dont blame the cops for letting him be released through the sally port. Who's to say there wasnt some idiot waiting for him in the parking lot with a gun? Everyone wants to scream "he murdered that kid". The kid was already out on bail for another crime, was caught in the act of another felony, tried to run away from the law, and drove towards the cops. With all of the morons out there today shooting at cops, trying to run them down, etc., I dont blame the cop for shooting him. Stop feeling sorry for low life pieces of garbage that resort to crime as a life style.

Well, is someone drives their car toward me in the dark, they can stop if they want to, but I'm still going to shoot if I don't know what's going on in the car. For all Hastings knew, they were going for a gun.

Bond is not made for punishment. It's to ensure that he will appear in court. Try reading the bill of rights sometime, it might help you make an educated statement.
