LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Little Rock School District and its employee union will resume talks on raises Wednesday.
The two groups met with mediators Friday for nearly eight hours, but didn't come to an agreement. Representatives from either side would not say how close they are to striking a deal.
On April 26, teachers and support staff employees picketed outside of district headquarters to preview the negotiations.
The raises in question are for the current school year. The district currently employs 3,800 people.
