I told my 11 yr. old GREAT grandson if he heard a gunshot...hit the DOORLOCK...while staying low. He said "Sure, they will listen to an eleven year old"...I said...BUT IF IT WAS A GUNSHOT..YOU WOULD BE A HERO. I just hope he doesn't hear anything. God Bless

OK so we are on high alert TIL NEXT WEEK? "Superintendent Dr. Morris Holmes also sent a message to school principals and vice principals urging them to "take extra safety precautions immediately and through next week." THROUGH NEXT WEEK? THROUGH NEXT WEEK?

Good comment bat102. You can have all of the security measures you want, but all it takes is one small error in the security for some nut job to get into the school. What is more sad is schools go into a heightened alert only when something tragic happens. Keep the same, strict policies intact year round, not just during a crisis time. It does seem that since the government has taken God out of school, that the devil has found his way in.

Lock the schools up put a cop in every school that may help, took god and prayers out of school, but send someone to jail and the first thing they give them is a bible, not so funny is it.
