It's only at Fox16. No true journalist would ever think it racist to include a description of the suspects in a news story.

Good case for allowing honest, law abiding students to have CCP's on campus. VA Tech may not have been as bloody as it was if so. Don't understand the restrictions on certain places not allowing guns; it doesn't stop the criminals and nut jobs, does it?

This doesn't really surprise any of us does it? If the perps had been white, then it would have been in the story. Hello tucson2! My favorite city; ah the memories! Best zoo in the world ( Desert Museum, not the city zoo! ). Big Ben's tuna melts. U of AZ campus. 4th Avenue! Choo Choo's still there? Still have the annual smoke out on 4th Ave.? Catalina's and A Mountain. Too much to mention; great city in the 70's!

But wait, UALR just invested a ton of money to make the campus safer. What a joke. And I'm with ya'll on this political correctness crap. If you are to scared to report the race of a criminal, stop reporting the news altogether. We as the public have a right to know every aspect of the description of a suspected criminal. Stop being such a wuss and give the public what they deserve.

Official UALR message we received later on in the evening: Today, Sept. 12, at about 4:15 p.m, one white male UALR student had a laptop stolen outside the Trojan Grill area. The suspects were two black males. One had a gun. After taking the laptop, the suspects fled into the neighborhood east across 30th Street. At that time, the armed suspect was apprehended by University Police, and the laptop was recovered. One suspect is still on the loose. He was described as having a heavy build, about six feet tall, wearing a black shirt, cut off sleeves, and a letter "A" tattooed on his left arm. If you witnessed this crime or have any information about it, please contact Detective Tonya Soule at  569-8793, or call the University

Why don't they say what color the assailants were? 50% of the population could be eliminated. If they are White, fine. If they are Black, fine. If they are Hispanic, fine. If they are Asian Fine. The public needs to know who to look for. This is political correctness crap run that is penal to the public at large.
