Large Search Operation Planned Saturday for Walnut Ridge Teen

Law enforcement in and around Walnut Ridge is planning a large search effort Saturday morning and encouraging the public to take part.
Searchers are looking for 14-year-old Sidney Randall, the subject of an Amber Alert. Officers believe Sidney was kidnapped by her stepfather who was later found dead. She's been missing since Saturday, March 9.
The Walnut Ridge Police Department is asking interested volunteers to meet at the community center at 8 a.m.
Texas Equusearch will set up search groups based on abilities and gear. Anyone interested in asked to dress warmly and be prepared for any weather conditions. ATVs are welcome.
Food and drinks will be made available to anyone taking part in the search.
