I had a child that attended Sylvan Hills High School when this took place. Know what the school had ALL students do? They made them have a 'Silent' moment of prayer for this kid. A silent prayer for a thief!!!! This is what our schools have come to! Simply disgraceful! Needless to say, my child refused to comply.

me501...you are hilarious! Mr. Staley fired shots at a person stealing from his property and threatening his family in the middle of the night. A) it was the middle of the night when this occurred...so how many kids do you think were out there playing? B) Where the house is situated, they only have a church on one side of them and a couple with no kids on the other side of them, and that is about it. They are not in a neighborhood filled with kids. Their house faces a major street and is not in a neighborhood. Do your homework before you make statements, unless you are seriously just trying to entertain us with you lack of knowledge of the situation.

Why is it that when a black person kills a black person, most of the black posters dont say much. But when a black person, who was in the act of committing a felony, gets killed by a white person, who is defending their life/property, they want to pull the race card? He was acting like a punk ass thug, living "the life" and he paid for it dearly. And I was not stereotyping you highlyfavored, just asking that you try to use some proper grammar, not crap no one can understand. Your brother, in a sense, killed himself when he decided to commit the crime. If someone was threatening you or your property, I am sure you would have a defense as well. Highley Favored...Bryan Cross was NOT dating Mr. Staley's daughter. Mr. Staley's daughters at the time were little, like 5 and 10. If Mr. Cross was dating either one of those girls, like you said, he was a freaking pedophile to boot. I am pretty sure the 10 year old was not sneaking out trying to meet your brother. Nice try though...thank you for playing! And no, the police did not find your brother, Mr. Staley's wife found him the next day.
