LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Little Rock Central High marching band has been selected to perform at the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C.

The band directed by Brice Evans is one of 84 groups selected by the Presidential Inaugural Committee for the Jan. 21 ceremony during which President Barack Obama will be inaugurated for a second term.

The band is currently seeking sponsors and donations to help pay the estimated $100,000 cost of making the trip.

While it is an honor to perform at this event, I would have to decline. I would not perform for the inauguration of this idiot. I'd rather go to the opera, sober.
