Malvern rape suspect turns himself in

Malvern police say rape suspect Mikal Ali turned himself in Monday evening. Ali, 31, is accused of raping a woman in front of her children.
Police say Ali was released from jail Monday morning and his mother was taking him to rehab when they stopped to visit his children.
Ali's mother was outside when one of the children ran out crying. The victim says she fought with Ali and he threatened her saying he had a gun. She said they argued and it turned physical and that is when the alleged rape happened.
He ran off before police arrived. Police say a member of Ali's family convinced him to surrender to officers.
